LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing participates in a Centralized Application Service for Nursing Programs (NursingCAS). Applicants applying to any of the nursing programs will apply online using the NursingCAS application. If an applicant has attended a previous nursing program without degree conferral, a letter of academic good standing must be provided from that school of nursing.

Acceptance Deposit

Accepted applicants must submit a confirmation letter of acceptance with a non-refundable deposit by date specified in the admissions letter. The non-refundable acceptance deposit indicates the applicant’s intent to register and enroll in classes for the semester accepted.  The non-refundable acceptance fee is applied as a credit to the tuition fee bill.  If the non-refundable acceptance fee is not received by designated deadline, as specified in the acceptance letter, the admission and registration is forfeited.

All students must comply with the general Health Sciences Center provisions governing registration as specified in the general information section of the catalog/bulletin.
