PROS 5511 - PROSTHODONTIC PRACTICUM

[2-12 Credits]

This course teaches advance level prosthodontics in the management of complex edentulous, partially edentulous and dentate patients, including the surgical placement of dental implants. Diagnostic information is gathered, analyzed and treatment options are formulated based on the patients’ unique needs and goals. Diverse treatment approaches are encountered, and careful evaluation is made of all treatment. Multidisciplinary care is coordinated with other specialty programs. Master dental technicians work closely with residents using analog and digital prosthodontic protocols.
