NURS 7213 - PSYCHIATRIC-MENTAL HEALTH NURSE PRACTITIONER III: REFLECTIVE PRACTICE AND ROLE TRANSITION

This course focuses on psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner’s transition into clinical practice. Psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner student will explore employment contracts and negotiations, credentialing, and business development. The clinical practicum provides the opportunity for psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner students to practice concentrated time in the clinical setting appropriate to an area of interest. Refinement of clinical expertise and role development as a nurse practitioner is a clinical expectation.
